Animal Prayer Ministry

We are all Spiritual Beings, including animals. Our pets are here to enrich our lives and are so much a part of our family. Sometimes our pets have challenges, just as we do. Our ministry of prayer staff will hold you and your pet, or any animal in prayer. Just place your prayer request in the prayer box at church, or fill…

Craft Club

Craft club is a fun time for people to get together to work on their own projects, and chat while working together. Kind of like the old sewing circles of our grandmothers. Jann, our Craft Club leader is also available to help you with any challenges you may have on a project. Right now the Craft Club is taking a hiatus and…

Grief Support

As we move through life there are times we experience loss. Whether it is the loss of a loved one, loss of a relationship, loss of a home or a job. Whatever the situation may be our practitioners are here to help you through this difficult time. To be connected with a practitioner please email dr.wishall@scc4sl.org. If we have several people going…

Helping Hands

Our church collects food donations and brings the food over to the Santa Clarita Food Pantry where some of our congregants volunteer their time. Our church is also helping the Santa Clarita Homeless program Bridge to Home. On the Sunday before the second Monday of the month, following fellowship we stay to prepare lunch bags filled with a lunch for the homeless. Once…

Healing Meditation

Our Healing Meditation group meets Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm. This is a time of letting go of the hustle and stress of the week. It is a time of healing, relaxation, quiet contemplation and prayer. The practitioner will guide us through a guided meditation, accompanied with soft music and finally you can sit in the silence. Even if you have never meditated…

Men’s Group

Right now we do not have an active Men’s Group. We are holding the space for one to start when we have men interested in such a group. We see it being a safe place for all men to join in fellowship, and camaraderie. If you are interested in being part of this group please contact Dr. Marion Wishall at dr.wishall@scc4sl.org, and…

Ministry of Prayer

Ernest Holmes always said that the Practitioners are the healing arm of the church. They are there to pray with you, for you, and your loved ones, including your pets. You can fill out a prayer request form and drop it into the prayer box in the church lobby. You can also fill out the form here online. It will be emailed…

Pastoral Prayer

This ministry supports church members in various stages of recovery from illness or accident. We hold these individuals in prayer, determine what their needs might be and see how the community can be of assistance, and those living alone are visited by our Pastoral Care Practitioners. For more information contact Rev. Jody Milligan at jodymilligan@gmail.com.

Spiritual Discussion Group

This group meets once a month. The date is yet to be determined. The purpose of this group is to discuss whatever might be going on in the world that is upsetting, whether it is political events, natural disasters, things in the news, or just personal events happening. We will learn to look at these events from a spiritual perspective. We will…

Volunteers

Our church vision is to grow and help people understand the teachings of Science of Mind. With that in mind we need the help of our volunteers. Volunteers help the Minister and the Board of Trustees by doing some of that which they can not get to. There are so many things that need to be done and by volunteering you can…
