Walking the Labyrinth

The Labyrinth is a designed circular path. The entrance to the labyrinth is also the exit. Many cultures and traditions have used the labyrinth as a meditative tool and a way to release the daily business we have going on in our head. We have no decisions to make while walking this path, the only decision is to Choose Spirit and surrender to the divine guidance along the path. Some who have walked the path have said they felt a sense of peace and God’s presence while on the path.

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Labyrinth
Our local catholic church,
St. Kateri Tekakwitha, on Cooper Hill, has a labyrinth one may walk at any time.

Some of the earliest labyrinths are found in Greece dating back to 2500-2000 B.C.E. Early Christian labyrinths date back to 4th century.

Lynn Klein runs Labyrinth workshops for our Center for Spiritual Living throughout the year. She will draw a labyrinth on the cement pad located at the far back part of our parking lot. It is a wonderful way to meditate outside, and move. Come join us on Earth Day, Saturday April 22, 2017.
